Manny Lopez is definitely one of the most prestigious and well known individuals in San Diego. His name is synonymous with integrity, discipline, and perseverance. For any individual to take the lead on such a controversial and dangerous project in the name of duty and code is selfless. Sgt. Lopez put his life on the line, as did the other brave souls on the Border Patrol Task Force, night after night. Many say that such individuals would lose their conscience, turn vigilante, and turn their back on society. Jesus Manuel Lopez proves them all wrong. I look forward to seeing the polished version of this very potent and poignant documentary that should open some eyes and soften some hearts.
